I understand - I'm gonna miss them too  I'm concerned about ecology but it's stupid to replace classical bulbs everywhere since the manufacturing and disposal of the "eco" bulbs are more power demanding and they're totally unsuitable for the areas where you often switch the light on and off (like hallways, bathrooms etc.) as they need much more power than the classical bulbs to start (the power saving comes when they're on for longer time periods) and their life expectancy is much lower (meaning the times you can turn them on). Yeah, "eco" bulbs are cool for rooms/plants where the light's on most of the time (or where it's switched rarely) but that's it.

And last but not least - it's hard to find an "eco" bulb with that warm inviting light a classical bulb produces - most of them are cold and their light just make me feel uncomfortable :( I was really happy to find some of the last 100W (and some other "terminated" types) classical bulbs in local store about a month ago so I bought as many of them as I could at the moment and I'm fine at least for some time ;) Anyway, let's keep a minute of silence for The Bulb :salute:

Great shot, btw... ;) :+fav:
